We believe live streaming
shouldn't be complicated.
ember.cam started with a simple frustration: why does going live require a webcam, a capture card, encoding software, and a computer science degree?
We're a small team of hardware engineers, firmware developers, and streaming enthusiasts who got tired of the status quo. Traditional streaming setups are fragile, expensive, and require constant babysitting. We knew there had to be a better way.
So we started from scratch. Not with an existing camera platform, not with off-the-shelf components glued together — but with a purpose-built piece of hardware designed from day one for one thing: making live streaming effortless.
The result is ember.cam — a standalone 4K streaming camera with built-in encoding, multi-platform output, AI tracking, and connectivity that just works. Power it on, point it at your subject, and you're live. That's it.
What drives us
Simplicity First
Technology should get out of your way. Every decision we make starts with the question: "Can we make this simpler?"
Quality Without Compromise
We don't cut corners on components, materials, or engineering. If it's not something we'd use ourselves, it doesn't ship.
Privacy by Design
Your streams, your data, your control. Encryption isn't an add-on — it's baked into the silicon.
Built in Indiana
We design, engineer, and assemble our cameras in the US. We believe in keeping our supply chain close and our quality standards high. Every unit is tested before it leaves our facility.
